Itoh peonies are a cross between a general peony and tree peony. The roots are easy to divide, and the blooms are highly decorative. It is not unusual for itoh peonies to produce fifty or more blooms after established! Even after flowers are past, the foliage maintains beauty and remains a focal point in the garden. Sonoma Kaleidoscope has blooms that are as unique as a snowflake. Attractive foliage and sturdy stems give it a tidy appearance all season.

Growing & Maintenance Tips for Paeonia itoh 'Sonoma Kaleidoscope'

Easily grown in fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Performs best in full sun to partial shade. Before planting, add compost to soil. Remove past blooms. Cut foliage to the ground in fall. Plants are long-lived, but do not need to be divided and can be left undisturbed for years. Fertilize once a year.
