Plant in a sunny location in rich, well-drained soils. Roots need constant moisture as they are shallow-rooted and can dry out easily, but still require good drainage. A layer of mulch is beneficial. Blueberries are self-fertile but larger crops can be achieved by planting with other blueberries that bloom at the same time such as ‘Bluecrop’ or ‘Blue Gold’. Prune as needed in late winter beginning in the third year after planting.
