A self-fertile, dwarf cherry with a compact, shrubby habit and abundant crops of sweet-tart, dark red-black fruit. White spring flowers appear before the glossy green foliage, followed by fruit that ripens in mid to late summer. Extremely hardy and ideal for fresh eating, baking, canning, or juice.
Plant in full sun and moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape. Self-fertile but benefits from cross-pollination for larger yields.
