Hybrid cultivar bearing unique flower panicles that transition from purple to raspberry pink and then to golden orange. Fragrant blooms attract butterflies from late spring through fall. Lance-shaped dark green leaves create a nice backdrop for the colorful blooms.
Plant in full sun for best flowering and form. Can become weedy and sparce if not grown in full sun. Well-drained soil is a must and if grown in zone 5 and there is a cold winter the top of the plant may die back from cold and can be pruned to 6 inches in spring when it will reflush from the base. Many times a hard prune in spring will encourage vigor and create a well formed shrub with beautiful flowers.
