Chupon de Malinalco tomatillos have a conical, slightly heart-shaped form with a rounded tip, ripening from green to bright yellow. The fruits are covered in light yellow, papery husks that may show subtle green tones. Thin, light green stems surround a light yellow, semi-transparent interior filled with tender, juicy flesh. Tiny edible seeds are dispersed throughout. They offer a delicious sweet-tart flavor with fruity, tropical notes.
