A stately American linden with a strongly upright, narrow pyramidal form and a clean, tidy habit. Large, dark green, heart-shaped leaves create excellent shade before turning brilliant yellow in fall. Fragrant buttery-yellow flowers appear in early summer, attracting bees and other pollinators. Adaptable and low maintenance, its narrower footprint makes it an excellent choice for streets, lawns, and landscapes where space is limited.
Plant in full sun to part shade and moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, then reduce frequency once established. Prune in late winter after extreme cold has passed to maintain its strong structure and remove dead or damaged branches.
