Despite looking like a needled evergreen, this deciduous has yellow-green, finely textured, needles that turn a beautiful copper color in the fall. Long-lived and pyramidal in shape. Purple-green cones, about 1” in diameter, are loved by squirrels!
A slow grower does best in full sun and alkaline soils. Prune during the fall or winter if desired. Tolerant to a wide range of soil conditions and pollution.
