Big, beefy, ruffled, deep green leaves are borne on thick red stems that signature Rhubarb flavor. Unharvested plants form a large showy, spreading mound that are as attractive as its stems are tasty! A long time favorite treat for summertime baking, jams and jellies. Growing & Maintenance Tips for Rheum Victoria
Grow for two years before harvesting stems. Plant in loose and well-drained soils high in organic matter content. Apply mulch to keep roots cool in summertime heat. Remove flower stalks as they appear to keep all plant energy producing foliage
