Scarlet Oak has a rounded open habit, 3-6"  green leaves are deeply lobed and bristled at each tip. It is with these thick, green leaves that create the shade any picnicking family searches out. An excellent lawn or street tree - Just be sure to give it the room to handle its mature size.
