Itoh peonies are a cross between a general peony and tree peony. The roots are easy to divide, and the blooms are highly decorative. It is not unusual for itoh peonies to produce fifty or more blooms after established! Even after flowers are past, the foliage maintains beauty and remains a focal point in the garden. Morning Lilac features bright blooms on a shrub like habit that remains a focus even after blooms have passed. In the fall, foliage turns shades of bright orange and red.
