Slim Jim Norway Spruce is a columnar, evergreen conifer with a very narrow upright habit. The foliage is rich, deep green with sharp, ascending branches, which together create a dense screen. Because of its thin profile, it’s especially suited for tight planting areas where height is desired without a broad footprint. It offers year-round structure in the landscape, and its strong vertical presence makes it an excellent accent or privacy screen.
Plant Slim Jim in full sun in average to moist, well-drained soil. While it tolerates a range of soil types, good drainage is essential to avoid root issues. During establishment, regular watering helps, but once mature it tolerates some drought. Prune only to remove dead or crossed branches or to maintain form if needed.
