Big, deep green, heavily textured foliage creates a dense, compact, rounded landscape with each branch end forming a wide, dome shaped bud in June. Buds open to create a big, rounded mound of deep red flowers that last well into summer. Perfect for partial shade. Great for grouping in the landscape. Tolerates sandy, seaside conditions. Flower ages well and retains good color.
Thrives in full/partial sun. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer. Prune as blooms are fading in late August to resize and promote heavy bloom next year.
