An attractive, evergreen groundcover that saves its best show for fall and winter with red-tinged, dark green foliage and an outstanding display of large white berries that are both persistent and edible. Delicate bell-shaped white flowers bloom in early summer. Dense, compact and hardy.
Plant in a shady acidic or woodland soil, 12" apart. Prune out dead wood and cut back in April for shaping. Mulch with peat moss.
