Vigorous growing with large, mound forming foliage, this plant gives rise to long spikes covered with fat buds that open to reveal spikes of tubular, creamy yellow flowers starting in June. Spectacular summer bloom for the back of any garden. Good cut flower. Great for grouping. Easy to grow.
Prefers a moist, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer. Cut back to near ground level in late fall after a hard freeze.
