A profusion of bright pink flowers blooms in mass outlining the rounded form. Excellent landscape performance and extremely hardy. Dark green, leathery leaves are heat resistant and wind tolerant. Foliage is colorful throughout the growing season making this an outstanding specimen tree. Produces less fruit than other Redbuds.
Prefers full to half-day sun. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer in spring. Little pruning is required except to remove dead, diseased, or crossing branches. Mulch well over the winter to reduce possible winter injury.
