Big, blue-green heart-shaped leaves and a dense, rounded form are just a couple of the fabulous features of this Redbud. Fuschia pink to red flowers explode into abundance in late April. Foliage turns yellow in the fall. The foliage provides caterpillar food for some of our area's most sought-after butterflies.
Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Part shade is best in hot summer climates. Little pruning is required except to remove dead, diseased, or crossing branches.
