A beautiful clump-forming ornamental grass with narrow green foliage that grows about 2 feet tall and wide. In late summer, soft pink, feathery flower plumes rise above the foliage to nearly 4 feet, maturing to tan as seeds develop. The foliage turns a warm yellow-beige in fall, adding seasonal interest to the landscape.

Easily grown in average, medium to wet soils, in full sun. Does well in heavy clay soils, unlike many of the other ornamental grasses. Soils should be kept moist and not allowed to dry out.
