Hardy vine grown for eyeatching green foliage with white and pink variegation on mature leaves. Fragrant white flowers in May.
Plants that have any pink on their foliage are rare, which is one of the reasons that this hardy Kiwi is such a great landscape novelty. When young, this plant looks like any other green leaved vine on a trellis or fence. But, as the plant matures, a marvelous transformation takes place, as bigger, more mature leaves will begin to brazenly show bold splashes of white and pink, turning a non-descript plant into a WOW machine. 'Artic Beauty' is a male Kiwi so it will not provide fruit, only loads of color in a half to full sun area. Its May bloom of small white fragrant flowers is sweet, but the overall beauty of its foliage and its easy care nature is what will make this vine an outstanding landscape addition.
