Upright growing deciduous azalea that explodes with 3-4" vivid red-orange flowers and vermillion spotted throats in early to mid-May. Lightly scented and very distinctive in the garden. Spectacularly showy in the spring landscape. Very hardy, superb when used in groups. Tolerates partial shade.

Thrives in partial shade. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer. Prune immediately after flowering in late spring by cutting branches to just above a set of leaves.
